Behold the mighty hamburger, America's #1 fast food item
since the 1950's I suppose. Behold America's obesity problem,
both young and old, when the wonderful burger is combined with
Fries and a Soda or a Shake. America, let's stop the insanity
as heart disease and other obesity related health problems
have now surpassed SMOKING as the number one killer of Americans.
In view of the fact that the FDA alerts the nation
EVERY OTHER WEEK on Ground Beef RECALLS due to the presence
of the deadly E-Coli bacteria, and in view of the fact that
any given hamburger contains remnants of about 100 cows (great
PBS Special last month), we should re-evaluate our eating habits.
Combine the obesity and excessive trips to the bathroom ("gee, must
have been something I ate") with the overpriced anti-nutrient slop served in these
filthy fast-food kitchens (yes, by the time you get the fries the potato
has lost all value and you're rewarded with FAT---as well
as the cross-contamination from poor food-handlers), well, you're left
poorer and unhealthier than when you first went in. Why not opt for
REAL CUTS of meat such as chicken breasts, fish fillets, and LEAN London Broil?
(Real cuts of beef are far better than the scraps of over-handled Ground Beef from 100 carcasses).
Better yet, take the time to cook at home for the sake of good health
for you and your children, and a fatter wallet, not gut!
Think fish or fowl before eating cow and lettuce eat more salads...
Endure the hurt, skip dessert, and shrink your size-----exercise!
