When I was 10...

I was 10 the first time I heard the Cream, the summer of '69. "Best of Cream" & "Blindfaith", via my brothers, dominated the living room stereo whilst the parents weren't home. Where does one go from here? Other than Hendrix, who could possibly get near this powerful music? No one. 3 years later--borrowed a few bucks--I bought the "History of Eric Clapton" double-record set. THAT lead to 33 more years of the need for more riffs. Quality riffs. Riffs that represent a ton of emotion. Riffs to learn by. Riffs to live by. It all began with Cream, the alpha & omega of the fusion of rock, blues & jazz. The original power trio & original supergroup. 37 years later, they still have it.
