Pavaroddy's Editorial of the Week

Congratulations to the Anaheim Angels (my home team for 20 years) for winning their first playoff series in their 41 year history. Double appreciation for eliminating the 134 Million Dollar Yankees and sparing the country another Nickelodean-rerun-World Series in the Bronx. 31 runs on 56 hits against the "best MLB pitching staff" to reach the post-season, well done. Kudos also to the St. Louis Cardinals who swept the reigning World Champion Arizona Diamondbacks. After a season of great loss, St. Louis deserves to advance. And even if the Angels and Cardinals don't go any further, it will be refreshing to see some different teams in the Fall Classic...well, let's see if we can eliminate the Braves first....
